This is the obligatory "welcome to my blog" post. I've probably coerced you into checking this out, so be kind and humor me. I have no idea really what I am doing with a blog, so this will be a learning experience!
The purpose of this blog, and I'm sure it will stray from time to time, is to talk about motorcycling and the gear that goes with it. I'll share stories, pictures and musings all for your (or really my) enjoyment.
Why gear tho?? Well frankly I think gear is super attractive, and really completes the "look" of a biker. I am probably the only one in this area that wears the full piece suit all the time... I guess I just like my skin too much not to wear it. And many of you know I've dealt with the funny looks, snickers and not-so-kind words from other guys here for wearing it. It's been a long and bumpy road dealing with the anxiety that sometimes it can cause, but I'm soon getting over it because frankly, who cares? (I should say thanks to a few friends that have helped me on that path, you know who you are)
So I hope to share a lot with guys out there, and maybe if there are any of you in the area that are too shy to wear the gear, I can start a revolution :) A GEAR revolution muahahahaha. (Okay maybe not but no one should feel ashamed of who they are or what they believe in so embrace it)
